The Soul’s Journey: Lonliness
Categories: Discovery | Self-Help

Wouldn’t it be easier if when we are pushed into this world we retain the knowledge and tips of survival from our past lives or from our ancestors? An internal  guide book, first page reads “ You are a light being having a human experience. Don’t take it too seriously.” Instead we chose to be blind to our inner GPS and become tiny, vulnerable sponges- soaking in every precious moment of life. Every fall and mistake leads to a tweak of your personality, every decision adds up to your life as you know it and every person you meet from your mom to your 8th grade teacher lends you their two cents as to which way to go…until eventually you are a bonafide adult human, congratulations!!…You’re on your own. In a future full of illusion who can you trust??..Here’s my two cents- go inward.

I started reading Tarot for myself to get answers on the rollercoaster that was my life- “How do I heal from the mistakes of my parents?” “How do I become a better parent myself?” “ “Where should I put my efforts in work?”, and “Should I turn my back on a man that I love?” I craved clarity and when I pulled my daily card it would stay on my mind throughout the day, synchronistic information would reveal itself through music, passing conversation or a verse in a book. It felt like instant comfort and validation that nothing stays stagnant and we can all choose something new at any time.

I am going to pull a card intuitively for us every week to lend guidance and encouragement. I will be presenting the message as it’s written in the guidebook. The first Oracle deck I’m using is The Soul’s Journey by James Van Praagh, who is a respected Medium and author on life after death, and spirit communication. These cards are presented in a way to relay messages from a crossed over souls point of view to give you a leg up in life. Two cents from the other side- Priceless.

Time to grow, for the first week of August I have pulled Loneliness…

This card has come to you because you must be reminded that there is a difference between being lonely and being alone. Feelings of loneliness originate from a sense of not appreciating the most important person in your life: you. If solitude seems like an affliction, you need to work on creating a healthy relationship with yourself. Only then will you attract others who will nurture your soul. If you don’t develop a healthy relationship with yourself first, you will only draw unhealthy relationships to you.
To create a healthy, positive relationship with yourself, you must begin to feel worthy of love. The pessimism of this physical dimension can affect your self-esteem if you don’t have the strong conviction that you are valuable and meaningful. Don’t view solitude as a weakness; it is merely your soul telling you that it is time to do some inner work and reevaluate your path before you start to shine. As you sit in the silence of your soul, you will realize that your Spirit family, teachers and guides are with you. You are never alone. – James Van Praagh
